WE'RE ENGAGED!!!
Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. Jason and I left for one of his friends wedding receptions at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We parked across the street east of temple square. As we crossed the street and were walking by the corner of the old reflection pool, Jason asked me when a good time to "you know." We had just previously been talking about engagment. I said, "say it!" So, he said, "engagement." I said I didn't know, in which he replied, "well, how about Thanksgiving?" I shrugged. He then said, "or would now be a better time?" He stopped, got down on one knee and proposed! I couldn't believe it! I was so excited and shocked at the same time! It was a total suprise!!!
The reception was a fake- even made more real by the actual invitation that his sister made and hung on his fridge! We walked over to where we first held hands on temple square and he gave me a gift- the one I thought was for the couple. (it even had their names on it) :) He had compiled a book and had it printed (hard bound and everything) of our dating. It had pictures and he put everything to rhyme/poem. It was SO romantic!!! After talking and reading the book, we went to the Roof Restaurant on Temple Square, where my mom and his parents were waiting along with 2 dozen red roses!
It was the most amazing night! I am so lucky to have him in my life!!! I love him SO much! And I can't wait for December 27th!!! :)
