Jack turned 6 yesterday and had, in his own words, "The Best Birthday EVER! Even better than the Spiderman one (last year)!" :) Whew! So glad :) The night before his birthday, I overheard him telling Kate that he was so excited to fly tomorrow with this green screen! PANIC! I said, Where did you see the green screen again? Barbie! (Blast that Barbie!) So, I decided I better watch it to see what he was expecting! Sure enough- Barbie and Ken F. L. Y.! AAAAHHHHH! I told Jason and he spent the night figuring out where to buy a harness- found one in West Valley and arrived just before closing at 8:30 p.m, came home and we spent the night (till about 1 a.m.) putting up the green screen and harness and pulley! How much is he loved? SOOOOO MUCH!!!!
In the morning, Jason and I woke early to put glow in the dark balloons all over his room. Big hit, but mainly with Brooke ;) We opened gifts and when he finished, we said, "Bud, we wanted to get you the green screen but we couldn't this year." He said, "It's ok mom!" Then we coaxed him out in the garage where it was all set up! He was SO excited!!!! He flew! Mission accomplished! High fives all around! :)
The party was NUTS! Little boys are crazy! We ate hot dogs/chips/rootbeer (yes, super healthy but Jack's request) finished off with an Oreo ice cream (his favorite) cake topped with the Millennium Falcon for his star wars theme! After gifts and presents, it was off to make a move and play. The kids had a great time and Jack loved it! Happy Birthday buddy! Hope this is a PERFECT year for you! You are SO loved!!!
