TBT (but on a Tuesday!) with Jack

As I was walking Kate to preschool today at Miss Julie's, I just remembered some memories that I do not have written down... I remember taking Jack on walks (when it was just him and I)- when it got colder, I wrapped him up in his blanket and would go for a walk around the neighborhood. He was just little! One night as we went to bed, we couldn't find blankie and I was REALLY upset about it! He was not nearly as upset as I was, but as I went to bed all I could think about is his poor blanket left out on the side of the road somewhere. I facebooked our neighborhood page and no one knew where it could be. Well, leave it to Jason (the master of all things found). The next day, it miraculously showed up I believe in the car (Sarge, as Jason called him- the FJ Cruiser). Found! Another Jack moment that happened about a year ago... After church, we have a habit of sitting down at dinner and asking everyone what they learned at church. Jack has never been a been talker of what he does. Kate tells all the details :) However, on this occasion Jack opened up and told us, "There was a little boy today that wasn't listening- he was being really naughty!" We asked who it was, and he replied, "I can't remember, oh yeah, it was ME!" :) Where does he come from? Jason and I laughed so hard (then tried to not laugh as we talked about not being naughty :) LOVE HIM!!! Fun memories! After reminiscing about these two memories, we got to Miss Julies just to find out.... it's Fall Break! NO SCHOOL!!! :) The life of a mother :)
